Join the College of Health & Human Sciences and the Speech Language & Hearing Sciences Department for this conference to demystify the neuroscience of Traumatic Brain Injuries(TBI), accompanying communication dysfunction, and the TBI-related systemic challenges that impact full participation in the legal-justice system. Together with an international, interprofessional team, we will describe our experiences, engage in case-based juvenile justice scenarios and point-of-view simulations, and learn strategies to improve communication for anyone living with TBI.
